When my very bestest friend is back in town we make sure to find time for some family photos! Because her two littles are growing up just way too fast! Let’s be honest, kids all grow up just way too fast! That tiny stage is way too short! Plus, family shoots with littles are such a different thing, especially when it’s with my best friend. I love how these guys trust me to do my thing while they explore in nature together. Marveling at the flowers, the birds, and the late summer golden sun shining through the trees.  Sharing in moments both tender and joyful, and all the snuggles, cuddles, and fits of laughter in between.

These types of natural, authentic engagement and candid connections are what I live for as a family photographer!

Side note, can we talk about their outfits for a quick second?  How perfectly styled are they?  I love this neutral palette of soft greys, creamy whites, and fresh blue chambray.  Soft brown accents add texture and warmth to match the golden hues of late summer grasses, which are all over the fields here in Carlsbad and Encinitas, lending an overall palette that will complement home decor most beautifully! Because with memories this adorable, you know you are going to want to plaster these photos all over those walls! 

And really, how cute were all these snuggles with the little ones!?! My heart just melts!
