As a lifestyle photographer I seek the happy balance between posed portraiture and documentary journalism. I aim to capture, with artistry and intention, the honest beauty in the every-day love you share. To create a comfortable space for you to be yourselves, in all your perfect imperfection. Sometimes this means guiding and directing you using prompts designed to evoke candid connection, and other times it means knowing when to hang back and let the moments in-between happen naturally. (And I’m not above a good fart joke if it means your kids will laugh with wild abandon). Your experience of our time together is always at the center of what I do, because I will capture more than just what these moments you spent loving on your family looked like. I will capture what they felt like too.

Not just for Holiday cards, our family sessions are a wonderful opportunity to disconnect from the world around you and spend an hour just loving on each other. I really strive to make this time a joyful, authentic experience full of candid connections, so your images will transport you back to the genuine laughs and tender moments you shared.
Maternity
Because a woman's body is never more beautiful than when she's growing another life inside her. Because it's the end of "before", after which your life will never be the same. Because your child will one day marvel at this "before" you, and cherish seeing you carrying her heart.
newborn
That flakey newborn skin, those itty bitty fingernails, the unmistakable sweetness of her smell... it's all too fleeting. Our in-home newborn lifestyle sessions tell the story of baby's first precious weeks at home with her family, wrapped up in blankets carefully chosen by loved ones, surrounded by parents, siblings, (fur-siblings), and all the sights, sounds and feels of home - everything you want to remember.
couples + Boudoir
You don't have to wait for a milestone Anniversary to take some beautiful couple's portraits - there is magic in your every-day love worth remembering. There is beauty in the familiarity of your natural embrace - the way your bodies puzzle together with ease as you cuddle on your living room couch. And if you're feeling extra sexy (or you want to) a tastefully intimate boudoir session might be just what you need.
As a Mom I understand wanting to freeze our children in time and that feeling may never be stronger than when your senior is about to leave the nest to make their mark on the world. We'll make sure to capture a variety of images that really highlight who they are, and give you everything you'll need for announcements, social media and gifts.
