Outdoor Bridal Boudoir in Los Peñasquitos Preserve.

At my bachelorette party, I was already 17 weeks pregnant with my son, so obviously, drinking was out, and I’ve never been a huge club girl, so instead, I asked my Maid of Honor if we could rent a gorgeous hotel suite and hire a boudoir photographer to take some fun photos of each of us!

We all brought multiple outfits and had some serious fun just being girly and sexy and spontaneous! And each one of us was amazed at how beautiful, sexy and fun we each looked in our photos!  I’m not sure why we were so surprised, because boudoir photography is such an empowering and inspiring experience! 

Boudoir sessions help women rediscover their own natural beauty, even healing wounds and experiences that have chipped away at their self-worth and identity over the years like tiny cracks in a mirror. A boudoir session is a celebration of everything that is you, just as you are;  raw, vulnerable, and imperfectly perfect.

*Bridal* boudoir sessions are becoming increasingly popular too.  Many brides are wanting to surprise their grooms with a peek into their passionate side – and will even gift their groom with a little album of the images; a personalized “little black book” to replace the one with all the old phone numbers he’s going to burn, of course, haha! Seriously though, a bridal boudoir session is a wonderful way to connect with your own unique sense of beauty, sensuality, and passion. The resulting images are always tasteful and classy; revealing in ways that are sexy but refined.

Not just the groom, but she, too, seemed surprised by how good she looked!  (I think it’s a natural reaction for all of us.) When she got her gallery she wrote me: “I was super nervous about how I would look in the photos, and let me tell you, I am blown away by your talent!! I absolutely love the photos, you did such a great job – you made me look so good!… Thank you for such a wonderful bridal boudoir experience and shoot! Well, let me tell you… I’m the lucky one here, to have such amazing clients who inspire me and help me love my job. And also… I didn’t “make” her look this good. She really does look this good! I just found a way to help her see that.
