Let's meet up for a chat so we can determine if we'll be a good fit. Your photographer's energy and spirit will play a big role in your overall experience so it's important we really connect. If you're local to San Diego, coffee's on me! A bit farther out? Let's Facetime! We'll figure out which Collection suits your needs best, and I'll send you a booking link via email. Use that link to pay the retainer and sign the contract to secure your date - bam! You can check that off your list.

Now that you're on board, we'll be here every step of the way to help ease your nerves, lending expertise to help you make informed decisions about your day. We'll send you a curated list of trusted vendors, and an online planning tool to help keep everyone organized and on the same page. We'll work with you, your planner and venue to build a photography timeline that prioritizes your needs and wants, while leaving room for you to bask very naturally in your excitement and each other's presence.
03 engagement session
Your engagement session - such a fun date night! And a perfect opportunity to take a break from all the planning to just love on each other for the evening. We'll get to know each other a bit more, and you'll see how I work. When you see how amazing your engagement photos turn out you will be even more confident heading into your wedding day! Bonus: you'll have all the images you need for your wedding website, save-the-dates, and personalized wedding decor!
When the day finally arrives you'll have complete faith in our ability to handle anything that goes wrong. (And something always does). Rain on your wedding day? No worries - we got this! Hair and makeup running late? NP; we planned in a bit of a buffer before First Look anyways. Family drama? Been there - we'll help you refocus on what really matters. When you hire true professionals you get the peace of mind that no matter what, you will have beautiful photos to remember your day. And you deserve to have the best day of your lives!
04 day-of
While you're off enjoying your honeymoon we will start uploading, culling and hand-editing all your beautiful images. You'll get a handful of sneak peeks within the first few days (because I know the suspense will be killing you) and you can expect your full gallery in 6-8 weeks. Revisit all your wedding memories as often as you like - I see lots of involuntary tears of joy in your future! Last, be sure to print your photos real big, and if you want, we can design your dream wedding album too!

You will receive all the best images from your day, edited in our signature style. I only remove true out-takes from your collection such as duplicates, eyes-closed, flash didn't fire, soft focus, or someone walked in front of the lens. I hesitate to list an amount because every wedding day varies so significantly, but you can expect about 50-100 high resolution jpegs per hour of coverage. Make sure to check out the real client full sample galleries I share here.
Nope. I choose to specialize in photography to give you the very best of this specific art form. However I know several wonderful videographers and am happy to refer you to them - so you can have a team that focuses on video with the same intention and care that I give your photography.
We made the conscious choice not to include any physical products in our Signature Wedding package because California tax laws would then require us to charge sales tax on the entire package price. But we LOVE designing Albums for our couples - they are your first family heirloom and present the best highlights of your day in true story form! Definitely - and we can provide documentation to prove it. Most venues require at least $1 million in liability coverage and besides, it's just solid business practice. We carry insurance on our gear, liability insurance, plus errors and omissions insurance for our business. We'll even reach out to your venue on your behalf to make sure they have everything they need from us ahead of time.
Our exclusivity clause ensures that we are the only hired vendor photographing your day, but we would't dream of asking your family and friends not to take their own photos for enjoyment. We will kindly ask them to stay out of the aisle during your ceremony, to give us space to get what we need, and request privacy during your couple's portrait time - family and friends tagging along can be distracting.
In fairness to all my clients, I cannot hold dates. Bookings are confirmed with a paid retainer and fully executed contract - all on a first come, first served basis. (I will, however, offer the courtesy of informing you about any competing inquiries as they come in).
