A whimsical garden wedding at Quail Haven Farms in Bonsall, California.
It was sweltering hot in Bonsall, California on the day of Emileigh and Jordan’s wedding, but it only added to the passion of the day. The location was just north of San Diego, in the Quail Haven Farms, a beautiful whimsical garden, even with the heat couldn’t touch the special day.
It was a swoon-worthy palette. Details like hand-woven macrame, flower crowns, succulents, peonies, garden blooms, and barely-blushing pink accents provided beautifully understated elegance. I could photograph it all for days, but what really got me about this day was that it just had ALL the FEELS! I mean, I knew when we did their engagement session that Emileigh and Jordan were the real deal. These two sweethearts went from nervous jitters to heart-felt tears, to belly-shaking laughter and back again all day long!
Emileigh was actually my second bride this season to cry her lashes off during the ceremony – and still managed to look like a goddess after. Her romantic groom Jordan put extra thought and care into creating little surprises for his bride throughout their day. Not least of which was a first dance surrounded by bubbles! So whimsical! Oh, and did I mention the adorable ring bearers and flower girl?
I cannot swoon enough over this gorgeous wedding day…
