If you’re looking for an iconic San Diego wedding venue located right on the water, check out Scripps Seaside Forum in La Jolla.

Josie & Austin moved to San Diego recently and wanted to share the beauty of San Diego with all their nearest and dearest for their wedding day. Because their guests were flying in from all over the country, they wanted a venue that truly highlights the best San Diego has to offer. Scripps Seaside Forum, with its picturesque views of San Diego’s most iconic Pier was the perfect destination for their celebration. This Scripps Seaside Wedding was one for the books!

Josie and her bridesmaids got ready at La Jolla’s Orli Hotel, a newly renovated boutique featuring spanish-influenced arches and greenery. First Looks and Party People

After the sweetest first look in the rose garden Josie & Austin shared private vows before meeting up with their colorful gang of revelers. Donning gowns of magenta, orange and yellow, Josie’s bridesmaids complemented each other and their gorgeous bouquets, provided by Organic Elements. But beyond the gorgeous color palette, this Wedding Party really brought the energy! Their warm personalities and joyous spirits, so palpable in these photos, really created an atmosphere of fun!

Sunset Photos with an iconic San Diego vibe

After the heartfelt ceremony, we walked down to the sand for some romantic couple time on the beach. Making time for some sunset photos together is the best way to ground yourselves in the true meaning of your day. This time allows you to bring it back to the true meaning of your day. While taking some alone time to get a little lost in each other’s arms is certainly the perfect appetizer for the feast that is your reception!

Scripps Pier – the famous tunnel of love

Scripps Pier, just steps from Scripps Seaside Forum wedding venue in La Jolla is one of San Diego’s most iconic views. There’s something truly magical about the way the setting sun shines through the posts. It creates an optical tunnel of glowy magic for wedding photos you’ll want to revisit time and time again.

It’s Party time!

Finally, once your couple’s photos are done it’s time to party the night away! The pressure some couples feel about the Ceremony and all the formality of the day – well now you can just let that all go and have a blast dancing in each other’s arms! Shoutout to Lucky Devils Band for creating the awesome party atmosphere for these guys to dance the night away!
